About the shop

Elm Hill Craft Shop has been trading since 1936 in the delightful location of Elm Hill, Norwich.

We are a perfect combination of beautiful, carefully curated products that you won’t find in every high street shop. We pride ourselves on exemplary customer service and attention to detail. This has ensured that the shop has weathered many a storm and we are still going strong.

The shop was run for 42 years by Christina Morris who still works here two days a week. Two years ago Christinas daughter Lucy took ownership of the shop. As a childrens book illustrator and author, Lucy has introduced much loved art equipment and stationery to the stock in addition to the wonderful products that Chrstina has carefully sourced over the years. On a Saturday you will find Lucy’s daughter Ottilie in the shop too, so you may get three generations of Morris women behind the counter if you’re very lucky!

The website is an extension of the shop. We can’t sell everything that we have in store, but we have selected an extensive range of wonderful things for you to choose from and this will be ever growing over time.
